I found the AI easy to use after watching the intro video on youtube. I like the conversational nature. These Personalities are engaging. The report feature is useful.

These are the current list of personalities you can choose to chat with: * Joker * Creator * Wizard * Every day person * Explorer * Hero * Quirky * Innocent * Caregiver * Rebel * Lover * Artist * Leader * Sage All are available to use when you create your own custom AIs from the AI Console. Our Default AIs have the following personalities: * Teresa (Caregiver) * Weebo (Quirky) * Joe (Every day person)
Eric Doriean 🛠️ 1 tool wrote:Yes, you can choose how your AI responds. Each companion can give short conversational replies or longer, detailed reports. Our default AIs start out in chat mode, but if you start your query with "Write a report" or "What's the latest" then the AI will give you a detailed report. You can edit the AIs in the AI Console to change their default response length between Chat and Report. The ability to change the default chat type for both our default and custom AIs is available in the AI Console.
Eric Doriean 🛠️ 1 tool wrote:Our main Large Language Model (LLM) is a privately hosted version of DeepSeek R1 0528. We chose this model because it's the best open source model available. When a question you ask is deemed to require up-to-date data from a Web search, then the Perplexity API is queried. No personal data is sent to Perplexity, so that information is always anonymous.
Eric Doriean 🛠️ 1 tool wrote:Not Yet Your Own AI is a privacy-first AI service, so we won't store your private conversations in a database like most AI services do. We're working towards implementing a service that will give your AIs memory and save your chats to read later on, but with world-leading privacy tech.
