Sumr

Sumr is an AI-powered tool designed to provide concise summaries of online content. This includes lengthy articles, products pages, company profiles and job postings, and more. It condenses the content into a shortened version so users can quickly understand the main points without having to read the entire text.

Sumr integrates with the Safari browser through an extension. When installed and enabled, users can click the Summarize button on any web page within Safari to generate a summary of the page content.

To use Sumr, you need to have an iOS, iPadOS, or MacOS device with the Safari browser installed. In addition, you need your own OpenAI API key to power the summarization process. The Sumr application can be downloaded from the Apple App Store.

Sumr uses the OpenAI API key to access GPT models for content summarization. It condenses lengthy web content into shorter forms that provide the main points of the content, efficiently aiding comprehension.

The primary browser that Sumr is designed to function with is Safari. While primarily available on iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS, attempts can be made to have it function on Vision OS, although results may vary.
