While the idea is good in theory, in practice this app is garbage. I used it for hours and got nothing but inconsistent, incomplete, and incomprehensible results. Worst $4.99 I’ve ever spent.

Thanks for trying Private LLM and sharing your feedback. Since the app runs LLMs locally on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, performance depends a lot on the device’s hardware. Older devices with limited memory and compute may struggle with larger models, which can lead to slower or weaker responses. Private LLM is not meant to compete directly with ChatGPT’s cloud models. The goal is to give users a private, Local AI chatbot that runs fully on-device without sending data to servers. For better results, we recommend using a newer device and choosing a model size that fits your hardware.

All excellent information that would have been helpful to know before I paid for an app that I’ve already deleted because it is completely useless to me.

The Idea definitely worth five stars. I just hope it got a support and a community
