Horribly slow, and horribly confused. I chose @okkslides because I *had* to construct a presentation in .PPT format, and this was pretty much the only AI tool that would output a PPT file. I gave @okkslides a markdown file of my presentation - the pitch deck for a startup - with all 10 slides precisely outlined, the themes clearly defined, and markdown annotations for the font size and type completed. And then I uploaded the supporting documents and references that @okkslides asked for in order to "make the presentation more detailed." Pretty sophisticated, I thought, thinking all that extra work would pay off perhaps, but at least suffice. But @okkslides STILL took it **upon itself** to go scrape the internet and find information about a different company - misspelling the startup's name in the process - and retrieving information relevant to a *completey different industry*, overwrite some of the content, and then incorporate these "improvements" into my presentation. It made the simple job WAY more complicated than it needed to be, and then charged me tokens for this "feature". Oh - and the text / slide editor? Completely counter-intuitive and with limited functionality. I wouldn't be surprised if they charged me tokens for trying to correct spelling and spacing mistakes as well. (For instance, put a space in between the title words, wouldya?) Could it be any more frustrating? My advice: Avoid PowerPoint. And avoid @okkslides, unless you ABSOLUTELY need to use PowerPoint. Even then use it for design ideas, perhaps. I hesitate to recommend this AI tool to anyone.

Meanwhile, users lack sufficient flexibility and ease for quick manual editing. We're committed to addressing these issues in our major version update by the end of this year. Meanwhile, please allow me to share some of our team's original vision for creating this product: Our intention is to develop a presentation tool for professional users—such as business professionals, consultants, analysts across industries, and academic researchers—that can rapidly produce "professional-grade deliverables." Our envisioned user scenarios include: a. Users whom have exceptionally high requirements for structured and visual expression of logical thinking; b. Users whom lack proficient and professional text-to-visual design skills; c. Users whom wish to compress the typically painful 1-2 week deep process work — from having just a business topic or objective, to collecting, organizing and analyzing background materials, forming an outline that meets their field's logical expression standards, to producing the 1st version of a professional-grade slide — down to under 4 hours. Therefore, “simple one-click generation” is not our development direction. Indeed, this vision has also resulted in suboptimal experiences for some users who prioritize high convenience.
